The Nature Civilization's Wild Veggies

A certain strange event showered the forests of the Nature Civilization with energy, and the resulting reactions caused a new race to emerge. Just as the Tree Folk displayed intelligence, now, so too did some other plants. Even the crops cultivated by the Beast Folk would sometimes become 'alive'. Rather than view this as a threat or aberration in most cases, the Beast Folk welcomed these new allies, treating them with mostly the same respect afforded to the Tree Folk.

Differences quickly became apparent. The newcomers were far less calm and controlled than their Tree Folk cousins, earning them the name 'Wild Veggies'. In some cases, such as the Quick Avocado, they could be considered outright insane, if there were such a thing as a standard of 'sanity' for combative vegetables. This does not stop them from being a welcome addition to Nature's Forces.
Wild Veggies, despite their combative nature, are seldom actually strong in battles. Their forms allow them to assist in the production of mana energy, such as the Shaman Broccoli and Quick Avocado. The Karate Potato also has a similar ability, and is also good at springing out to surprise enemies. Their strangeness is matched only by their loyalty to their comrades.
